“We hired for 3 nights in mid July and the van was delivered to a friends property for a 60th birthday. There was no handover. We were of the belief that the van was off grid and would last up to 5 days. What we didnt realize was that off grid meant only the lights fridge gas cooktop and water pump worked. We had no heating, no power for kettle toaster microwave or phone charging. So it was not as we expected.”
